What we’re about.

Our desire and intention individually and as a church body is to glorify God by loving Him and by fulfilling the purpose for which He created us: To become more and more like Christ.

It’s easy to write a fine-sounding mission statement, to support it with Scripture and to believe it, but it’s not worth much unless it is worked out in everything the church does and how it does it and in the lives of those who make up the church body. To get a sense of what is practically the mission of a church you need to go to a service, listen and look and meet and experience.

We encourage you to do that with our church. Come to our worship service and get a sense of what our mission really is. Christianity is not the practice of religion for us, it’s not a way of life, it is Life.

David Hennig

Pastor

David Hennig has been the pastor of Bethany Alliance Church for over 25 years. He is married to Amy Hennig and, together, they have been serving in the Christian & Missionary Alliance since 1985. Loving God is their priority, and this is shown in the way that they love and serve others. Whether it is the efforts of David to keep the church well maintained, meet for lunch with church members during the week, or the ways in which they host friends and families for dinner, bring meals to members who are sick or recovering, visit people in the hospital, or simply reach out to others, their lives illustrate their love for God and people.

We are part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.

The Alliance is an evangelical denomination committed to discipleship and world missions. Approximately 18,000 of its more than 20,000 churches are located outside the United States in 81 countries.
